Marvel's Avengers: Third Person Action Adventure Game

2019 - Present | Team Project | Level Designer

Assemble Earth's Mightiest Heroes and embrace your powers in the hit Marvel's Avengers game!

Role: Level Designer

​

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of special case gameplay scenarios based on the high level game design

  • Supporting the prototyping gameplay and bugfixing all with an AAA engine 

  • Playtest and iterate on designs in a highly collaborative and changing environment

  • Support in creatively iterating on the design and polishing the gameplay experience by collaborating closely with environment artists, other designers and programmers

  • Creating a custom camera system

  • Design and implement gameplay

  • Creating additional side content

  • Post-release support and content creation

Ephemeral Energy: Third Person Stealth Game

Ephemeral Energy is a Third Person Stealth game where the player has to fetch-and-retrieve a crystal.

Role: Level Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a level with backtracking

  • Creating gameplay moments

  • Designing and developing traps

  • Creating an art pass ready whitebox

​

MY NAME IS MIKE

AND I SPECIALIZE IN TECHNICAL LEVEL DESIGN

For a couple of years, I have been creating games in various roles. I have been the most confident within my role as a Technical Level Designer. I love to create games and it makes me feel awesome to see others play them.

​

I am a team focussed developer. I believe great games are made with various talented and lovely individuals. Even when working alone, I always look for feedback from others!

​

My main area of expertise is Technical Level Design. I love creating scripted events, templates, working with infrastructures and visual scripting. Besides Technical Level Design, I am a capable Level Designer and am no stranger to creating layouts, flow maps, block outs and mission design.
